Shipping and delivery policy

How we prepare, dispatch and deliver your orders, and what can affect delivery times.

Last updated: August 12, 2026

3.1 Delivery areas

Mercadete.com makes or coordinates deliveries only in the areas enabled during the checkout process. Coverage may vary by province, municipality, locality, logistical availability and type of product.

3.2 Delivery times

The timeframes shown on Mercadete.com are estimates, unless it is expressly stated that a specific service has a guaranteed date. Estimates may be adjusted as the operation expands its coverage and has more operational information available.

3.3 Preparation and dispatch

After the order is accepted, products may go through stages of verification, preparation, consolidation, compliance review, dispatch, transportation and final delivery. The total time may vary depending on the nature, location and availability of the products.

3.4 Recipient information

The buyer must provide the recipient’s full name, telephone number, address, province and municipality, the references needed to locate the home and any other information requested during checkout.

3.5 Contacting the recipient

Mercadete, its providers or its logistics operators may contact the recipient to confirm or coordinate a delivery. The buyer must make sure that the telephone number provided is correct and available.

3.6 Delivery confirmation

Depending on the type of order, Mercadete may document a delivery by signature, photograph, code, telephone confirmation, the name of the person receiving it or an electronic record.

3.7 Delivery to a person other than the recipient

Where reasonable and absent instructions to the contrary, an order may be delivered to a person present at the address who states that they are authorized to receive it. Different controls may apply to special products or situations.

3.8 Delivery attempts

When a delivery cannot be completed, Mercadete or the logistics operator may attempt to contact the recipient. A new delivery will be subject to logistical availability and may incur additional charges where the cause of the first failed attempt is attributable to incorrect information or the recipient’s unavailability.

3.9 Delays

A delivery may be delayed due to lack of availability, traffic, transportation difficulties, weather conditions, infrastructure damage, power or technology outages, force majeure, government controls, export requirements, regulatory issues or other circumstances beyond Mercadete’s reasonable control.

3.10 Restricted products

Mercadete may suspend the dispatch of certain products while it completes a compliance review. An order may be cancelled where it is determined that a product cannot lawfully be exported, re-exported, transported or delivered to the corresponding destination.

3.11 Inspecting the delivery

We recommend checking the order as soon as reasonably possible after receiving it. Any issue must be reported in accordance with the Returns, Cancellations and Refunds Policy.
